Al-Baqarah 2:158

Allah appreciates. Allah appreciates your efforts. Allah appreciates your good intentions. Your desire to please Him. Allah appreciates your search for knowledge. Your determination to better yourself. Allah appreciates your struggling against your own self. Allah appreciates your patience in trying times. Your gratitude and how you try to be grateful at all times.

Allah knows. Allah knows that it’s been difficult for you. He knows your pain. And your grief. And the burdens that weigh on your back. Allah promises you ease. He promises you ease. Allah hears your prayers. And He answers them in the best way. “And whoever does good of his own accord, then indeed, Allah is appreciative and knowing.

To err is human; to forgive is Divine

Ask and He will give.
Ask Him to forgive.
For we need to be forgiven.
For all the chances we were given.
For all the time we threw away.
For all the sins that we’ve committed.
And the instances we went astray.
Ask and He will forgive.
For He is the Most Forgiving,
Oft-Forgiving, Repeatedly Forgiving.
He is the One who pardons.
Who overlooks our shortcomings, our mistakes.
Who would choose punishment,
over a Most Merciful Lord?
So repent.
Turn back to Him.
Ask Him to forgive.
Make a promise.
Follow a bad deed with a good deed,
and it will wipe it out.
As though the sin was never there.
And what remains
is only good.
Repent again.

The Promised Ones

(31) And Paradise will be brought near to the righteous, not far. (32) [It will be said]: “This is what you were promised – for those oft-returning [to Allah] in sincere repentance, and those who preserve their covenant with Allah. (33) Who feared the Most Merciful in the unseen and came with a heart returning [in repentance]. (34) Enter you therein in peace and security; this is a Day of eternal life!” (35) There they will have all that they desire, and with Us is more.
